Full Inclusion Models: Examining the Facts (and Myths) Affecting Advanced Learners
Join the IAGC for an in-depth discussion and workshop for Regional, District, and School Leaders as we examine the claims of Full Inclusion proponents regarding its true impact on advanced learner instruction.

- Explore key claims of the Fordham Institute Report "Think Again: Are Education Programs for High Achievers Inherently Inequitable?"
- Consider student perspectives on the impact of Advanced Programming on their academic and social-emotional growth
- Examine the myths, misunderstandings, or misrepresentations that common arguments against Advanced Programming are based on
- Review a variety of Advanced Program options to address different district needs in order to expand academic pathways for more students
- Explore elements of a Program Review Framework in addressing both equitable learning opportunities and appropriate programming for all students.
- Network with District and Regional education leaders with similar demographics, needs, and goals.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER Brandon Wright Thomas B. Fordham Institute Brandon Wright is the Editorial Director of the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. He is the coauthor or coeditor of three books: Failing our Brightest Kids: The Global Challenge of Educating High-Ability Students; Charter Schools at the Crossroads: Predicaments, Paradoxes, Possibilities; Getting the Most Bang for the Education Buck. He is also the editor of the Advance Substack, and his writing has appeared widely in newspapers across the country. He holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Michigan. |
