The focus of this academy is for principals and assistant principals to understand the requirements of the Accelerated Placement Act and the Accelerated Placement Policy of their district.

Participants will be able to:

  • Understand acceleration and supportive research
  • Develop a referral process
  • Implement a fair, equitable evaluation process
  • Develop a transition and support plan for students
  • Collect required acceleration data for Illinois School Report Card

The academy is a five hour face-to-face course and requires one hour to develop a complete acceleration plan that aligns with the district policy.


REFUND POLICY

All events are nonrefundable unless otherwise noted in the event registration. 

Registrations may be paid via check or credit card. 

Purchase Orders are not accepted for invoices under $1000, unless otherwise noted or arranged. 

Event registrations must be paid before the event date/time, unless otherwise noted.

Paid membership dues are also nonrefundable
