NOTE: We hope to hold our annual conference in person at the Naperville Marriott in Naperville, Illinois. However, we are monitoring the Covid-19 situation and will change to a virtual/hybrid conference if needed. (We expect to make this decision in spring/summer.)

Do you have a particular area of interest or expertise related to your work with advanced learners? Consider sharing it with others by submitting a proposal to present at the IAGC 2021 Conference.
We are looking for ideas with respect to the following areas:
All sessions should reflect evidence-based practices and address equity and inclusion. Topics related to our theme - "Together We Lift Advanced Learners" are especially welcome, including ideas to support collaborations among teachers, administrators, parents, social workers/school psychologists, and educational specialists to support the academic and social-emotional needs of advanced learners.
Topics should align with the IAGC mission and priorities:
The Illinois Association for Gifted Children empowers educators, families and communities by advancing effective practices, programs and policies to promote the development of gifted and talented children throughout Illinois.
Confirmations will be sent by May 15, 2021.
