The Davidson Institute has a mission to recognize, nurture and support profoundly intelligent young people and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents to make a positive difference. To fulfill their mission, they have a variety of programs aimed at profoundly gifted students, including the summer THINK Institute, a full time school in Reno, an online homeschool high school, a Follows program for students who have done something amazing, and a Young Scholars program, which supports the families of profoundly gifted children as well. They also support teachers of gifted children through their Educators Guild.
SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted)
SENG's mission is to empower families and communities to guide gifted and talented individuals to reach their goals: intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. SENG hosts an annual conference and encourages parents to better understand their gifted children through SENG Model Parent Groups.
