President’s Committees
Advocacy – Cathy Greene, Susan Rhodes
The goal of the advocacy committee is to educate the decision-makers about the needs of gifted children.

The goal of the communications committee is to synthesize and disseminate information and publications.

 

Diverse Gifted Populations - Penny Choice, Laura Paull

The goal of the diverse gifted populations committee is to promote awareness, professional development, collaboration and support for diverse gifted populations throughout the State of Illinois.

 

Education - Laura Beltchenko (Early Childhood), Dianne (Mini) Woodard (elementary), Lori Swan (Middle School) and Judy Minor (Secondary)

The goal of the education committee is to share pertinent information with parents and educators regarding gifted children and their education.

The goal of the professional development committee is to provide statewide opportunities for educators, parents, and other community members to better understand the needs of the gifted child.

The goal of the social and emotional committee is to provide opportunities and resources to educate others relative to understanding both the social and emotional development of the gifted individual.

The goal of the technology committee is to support the technological operations of the corporation.
